Eynka

Artist Bio

Eynka makes music with meaning. They translate things most of us find hard to say with words into sounds that make deeply personal connections. When layered with refined grooves, their stirring, cinematic melodies become rollercoaster rides that make a lasting impact. The London based trio of brothers Chris and Dave Hall and lifelong friend Joshua Field has become established in the melodic world in a short space of time with releases on Diynamic, Cercle, and Stress Records and performances at influential clubs like Hï Ibiza and Ministry of Sound. But they are only just getting started.

Their obsessive approach to production has resulted in a richly layered sound full of emotion, building tension and joyous release, and led to plenty of early success. First was a standout debut track on Solomun's Diynamic and a fine run of tracks on Stress Records, while BBC Radio 1's Sarah Story named their 'Ascendance' as one of her first ever Track IDs, Ben Malone named Eynka as one of his Kiss FM Future Five Artists for 2022, and 2023 started with a special collaboration with Adriatique that was created especially for their Cercle stream from Egypt's historic Hatshepsut Temple.

Analogue synths and drum machines are their go-to tools and it is fair to say their meaningful melodies have turned heads far and wide. They have had writing sessions with artists such as CamelPhat and Anyma and the results can be heard on both artists’ new albums, including CamelPhat & Anyma’s ’’The Sign’, CamelPhat’s ‘In Your Eyes’, and 'What A Day,’ CamelPhat’s collaboration with Eynka and Delilah Montagu. Soon Eynka will unveil an all-new and immersive live show. There will also be a hybrid show in which Eynka will rework their own music and that of others, and they will continue to perform DJ shows too. An Eynka set is a deep dive into the sounds that inspire the group while also offering up the sort of richly emotive productions that they are known for making themselves. It is just one of the many ways that Eynka transports people into a musical world full of feelings.
