Julia Sandstorm is a Swedish DJ and producer whose dynamic, boundary-pushing sound has captured audiences around the world. Born in Stockholm and now based in Los Angeles, her musical identity reflects a life shaped by diverse cultures and rhythms, resulting in a rich fusion of elevated tribal, Latin, and melodic house, layered with soulful vocals, driving percussion, and hints of rock ‘n’ roll and old-school R&B.
On Ibiza, Julia has made her mark with multiple standout performances, including Elrow at UNVRS, Woomoon at Cova Santa, Flower Power at Pacha, and shows in Chinois. Her sets radiate energy and have taken her to some of the world’s most iconic stages and festivals. She has shared lineups with electronic heavyweights like Rufus du Sol, Solomun, Diplo, Swedish House Mafia, Vintage Culture, Paco Osuna, Carl Cox, Black Coffee, Bedouin, Blondish, and LP Giobbi. Julia has also graced venues such as Red Rocks in Colorado, Burning Man, Electric Zoo, Snow Lodge Aspen, Art With Me, Club Chinois, Abracadabra, and many more.
Deeply embedded in the Burning Man community, Julia played over seven sets in 2025 alone across Playground, Titanic’s End, Maxa, Pink Mammoth, and other camps. Festival-goers frequently describe her performances as “amazing” and “energy off the charts,” with some admitting they lost all sense of time: “Friends had to drag me away from this set. If not for them I’d literally still be there.”
As a producer and remixer, Julia has released music on labels like LP Giobbi’s Yes Yes Yes, Insomniac Records, and Playground Music. Standout tracks include Sarvam and Simmer, alongside her original track Leviosa and a creative remix of Ace of Base’s “All That She Wants.” Known for her magnetic stage presence and connection with the crowd, Julia Sandstorm continues to rise as one of the most compelling talents in contemporary dance music, bringing her electrifying sound to clubs and festivals across the globe.
