Kimonos
Artist Bio
KIMONOS is the Miami-based DJ duo of Gabriel Falanga and Omri Malka — two longtime friends bound by a deep love for electronic music and a shared connection to the dancefloor. Their sound moves fluidly between deep house, house, and techno, but it’s never really been about genre. For KIMONOS, it’s always about the feeling — emotional, driving, and rooted in connection.
In recent years, they’ve taken that energy global, performing at festivals like Tomorrowland, Coachella, Burning Man, Zamna, and Art of the Wild, and playing some of the most iconic clubs in the world — including Brooklyn Mirage, Space Miami, Sound in LA, and KOKO London. On Ibiza, 2025 was KIMONOS' busiest summer yet, with highlights including rounding off the season as Solomun's guest support at his legendary +1 residency closing party at Pacha, as well as sets for the likes of Mau P's Baddest Behaviour night and Tomorrowland at Ushuaïa.
KIMONOS made their biggest-ever trip to Burning Man in 2025, performing seven sets in the dust, including impromptu b2b sessions with ANOTR and RÜFÜS DU SOL. Their dynamic performances and deep connection with the crowd have helped them amass a significant following among the Burning Man community — one that continues to grow across the globe.
Amassing over 61 million streams, KIMONOS' music releases go from strength to strength, with wide support across the underground scene. Recent releases include a single on Rose Avenue, an EP on Solomun's Diynamic label, and remixes for the likes of RÜFÜS DU SOL, as well as an upcoming EP on Vintage Culture's label.
Whether it’s sunrise in the desert or a packed club in the middle of the night, KIMONOS aren’t just there to play tracks — they’re there to create a moment. A shared experience. A memory on the dancefloor that lingers long after the music stops.
